SWE: Society of Women Engineers

Hello! We are Olin College’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) chapter, and we aim to ensure that gender minorities can attend the ‘25 SWE conference feeling prepared and empowered.

Support Our SWE Chapter!

We strive to pay for conference admission and lodging, as well as SWE membership dues, reducing barriers to these transformative opportunities.

The SWE conference has an unparalleled ability to connect our members to interviews, internships, and careers. We asked our members to fill out a post-conference survey to gauge their outcomes from the SWE ‘24 conference. 89.7% of respondents received at least one job interview from SWE, and 51.7% of respondents got at least one job offer. The conference also hosts an abundance of networking opportunities, along with personal and professional development workshops. Outside of the conference, our chapter also organizes various networking and career-development opportunities. For example, we recently hosted a mixer event with Wellesley’s Engineering Society, allowing for engaging conversation and networking opportunities. We also collaborate heavily with Olin’s Post Graduate Planning office for SWE-centered career development workshops.
